Leaving on a Jetplane...

Im all packed and ready to go. Leaving to the airport in the next hour... A part of me is missing Melbourne already.... This time tomorrow i'll be back home.. I think i've gone overboard with the baggage weight.. :) We'll find out later! haha ..

I don't usually do people shots apart from the casual shots with friends, simple because my speciality is in NATURE & WILDLIFE :) I never really had the talent capturing moments of people.. I'd always leave it to the PRO's ... Like my dad always emphasizes " STICK TO WHAT YOU'RE GOOD AT!".

But she being my younger sister and wanted some images to work with for her upcoming Wedding..i said...I'll GIVE IT A SHOT!!!

Sarah and Kevin are getting married on the 11th of July 2009. They'll be having their wedding at the New Hyde Park Baptist Church, New York. She'll be the first one in the family to get married. I believe God has special things planned for them, and that their marriage will be a blast!! All my best wishes and prayers to you two..

Crappy Melbourne Weather

The weather down here is just killing me... it's gloomy, cold, dull.... Not good for photos at all. Was planning to do a re-shoot on beach huts down at Brighton Beach sometime this week, but the forecast is predicting bad weather throughout the week..  Well, i'll be flying home to Borneo this weekend for a long holiday. Can't wait to get home... The shooting....the training with the rugby team...the serene and quiet lifestyle....yea... life's just so prefect and easy back home.. 

Will be working on producing more images on Borneo while im back there. Images of the Wild Borneo never seen before!! Wish me luck!

Sent slides for processing..

Hoping for some great XPAN Panaromic shots. Just sent them out for processing, managed to get a few good shots on the trip to Phillip Island, but well, it's film...you wont know till you get them slides back...

Just before leaving ..

Just before leaving Phillip Island, I decided to wait for the sunrise down at the Newhaven jetty point, a small jetty at the exit of the island ..

Just returned from a weekend trip to Phillip Island. The main objective was to capture the spectacular landscapes of the Pinnacles, Pyramid Rock, Nobbies and some calm seascapes....

The hardest shot of all would be the Pinnacles. Waking up at 4.30 in the morning to drive down Cape Woolamai Beach and it was a 2km hike form the car park that took me almost an hour to reach. Upon reaching, a further 20 mins to hike down the steep rocky slope. But it was all worth the effort, I love the shot!

Was a chilly morning, but lucky for me I had a few good shots to make up for the cold morning.. :)
